Electreon

Electreon is a revolutionary company that creates wireless charging infrastructure for roads, thus changing the way electric vehicles (EVs) charge. The company’s proprietary inductive technology dynamically (while in motion) and statically (while stopped) charges EVs quickly and safely. Electron’s solution eliminates range anxiety, lowers total costs of EV ownership, and reduces battery capacity needs, making it one of the most sustainable, scalable, and compelling charging solutions available today.

The challenges

Electreon is a rapidly growing company with an established brand identity that needs smart and quick design capabilities. Their marketing efforts include digital media, signage, events, videos, and more. As the company penetrates global markets, some of the marketing assets require co-branding and assimilation of the brand into the specific markets served. Furthermore, since the product is invisible since it works underneath the road, Electron needed to come up with proper visual symbolism that would represent the hidden charging unit.

The outcome

When Electreon came to KRAFT, we immediately got to work brainstorming what visual symbol could portray the invisible charging unit. After some time, we came up with the neon colored road visual and then implemented it into several key images as well as incorporated it into the brand book. This visual perfectly encapsulates the link between the solution and the vehicle, which charges as it drives over the charging unit.

Collateral

Every brand needs a guardian – someone who is well-versed in the brand story and brand guidelines, who knows how to evolve and develop news assets. The challenge is to maintain the same visual identity while simultaneously creating fresh perspectives in order to stand out and keep things fresh. Luckily, Electreon’s brand is so vibrant and revolutionary that we find ourselves inspired to create various collateral pieces.
